As for Thunderbladez, Chad and I had a lengthy and very good conversation last Wednesday evening. They’ve been in business for 12 plus years, he has contracts with KDM and other property management groups, they offer a full range of services including snow removal, lawn care, and extensive property and lawn maintenance, he maintains an adequate amount of properties so that his crews and team members are not overworked, and he prides his business in the rapport and healthy relationships he has with his clients, and more importantly his employees, because in this industry, that reflects back to the clients the most. I asked around and multiple people have stated that they have an amazing reputation.
I then met the crew, Ken and Terri, on-site the following day, as they would be the primary crew responsible and looking after the KEP property, as it fits right in with the surrounding area that they service.
We performed a thorough walk through, as I diligently explained what is being requested and pointed out the areas of concern that have not been fully met by the incumbent (Donewell). What impressed me is that Ken, who has worked for Chad for ten years now, was pointing out the areas of concern before I even had the chance to, and he explained how they would remove the snow to prevent the issues we’re currently experiencing and dealing with.
It’s unfortunate I cant give any input on Persnickety, but what I will say about Thunderbladez, is that I strongly feel that these are the people we want looking after the property, and I’m pretty certain the Board will be more than satisfied with the quality of service they provide. I can just tell from speaking and going over everything with them that they have a strong work ethic, they’re happy and enjoy what they do, they pay attention to detail, and they showed a true willingness to do a thorough and proper job everytime.
